Bradley R. Balter, CFA, Portfolio Manager and Managing Partner

Brad brings over 15 years of experience in financial services and hedge fund industry across all sizes and investment styles. Through his years servicing some of today’s largest and most successful hedge funds, Brad has developed a keen sense for identifying hedge fund manager talent – individuals with sound investment strategies in addition to the passion and dedication to found their own businesses.

Prior to founding Balter Capital Management, Brad was a Managing Director in the Institutional Investor Group at Citigroup where he held primary responsibility for hedge fund relationships including support of fund formation, capital seeding, prime brokerage, and research requirements. Under his tenure these were all top ranking relationships across all key areas of responsibilities.

He also was a Senior Vice President of the Private Client Services Group at Paine Webber with oversight of more than $400 million of private client, corporate, and institutional assets.

Brad earned a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst as well as a member of the Boston Society of Security Analysts.
